Inspired by the Illustration Friday word of the week "twist" I decided to rework one of my drawings into an acrylic painting. This is called "Wild Curls" and once more I was aiming to show the twist and curls of the hair through the use of line. I'm in love.

I decided that since I keep on creating my topic for Illustration Friday those few minutes too late, that I would get a jump start on this week. The topic for this week is "Suit". I had plenty of ideas... but I decided to stick with the idea of toys in a suitcase.

This was my illustration for this weeks topic "Your Paradise" on Illustration Friday. I love the idea of wearing a favourite red dress under a weird science fiction looking tree and reading a book. Oh - and I am going through sugar withdrawals at the moment so my trees have doughnuts, and the grass has lollypops. Tee hee!
